Smoking, drinking alcohol, gambling, and consumption of banned substances are strictly prohibited inside the building and gates. Moonlight Hostel observes a zero-tolerance policy against ragging, physical harassment, or verbal abuse, which results in immediate expulsion without fee refunds.

Security, Access Control & CCTV Surveillance

Student safety is our top priority. Entry to the building is restricted strictly to registered student residents and authorized staff via biometric fingerprint verification scanners. Visitors, including friends, classmates, and parents, are not allowed inside student bedrooms without written permission from the resident warden. All corridors, entrances, lobbies, and common areas are monitored 24/7 by CCTV security cameras. Residents must cooperate with warden check-ins and emergency safety drills.

Facility Maintenance, Rooms & Utilities

Housekeeping staff will clean bedrooms and bathrooms daily, and laundry services are run multiple times a week. However, students are responsible for safety checks of their electronic devices. Heavy appliances (such as private induction stoves or heaters) are not permitted in rooms to prevent electrical fire hazards. Any damage to furniture, window screens, or common sports equipment will be charged directly to the responsible student.
